One of the great things about the show is how James involves the audience. One of the hallmarks of his performances is the way that audience members become the stars of the magic show.
"I'm careful not to embarrass my helpers in any way. Instead, they become the heroes of the show and always leave the stage to a huge round of applause," says James.
At a recent show in Plano, TX, Sandy Powell helped James with a trick where a $20 bill disappeared and reappeared in a truly impossible location.
"Usually, I am very shy in front of people," said Sandy, "but suddenly I am up there performing magic! It was a lot of fun, but don't ask me how it was done!"
